Miss Universe Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa h?u Hoàn vu Vi?t Nam) is an beauty contest held in Vietnam to select the country's representative to the Miss Universe pageant. The pageant is not related to Miss Vietnam or Miss World Vietnamese pageants.

History
The 2008 Miss Universe Vietnam will be held at Vinpearl Land tourist site in Nha Trang on May 31, 2008. This will be the first official Miss Universe Vietnam contest. However the organizer has no plan for the next edition.
The winner, Nguyen Thuy Lam, was the host delegate for the Miss Universe 2008 pageant to be held on July 14 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She made the Top 15.
Due to new rules for hosting beauty pageants in Vietnam beginning in 2009, Miss Universe Vietnam could not be legally held (the rules state that only one pageant can be held in Vietnam per year, and Mrs. Vietnam received the license for 2009.) Thus, first runner-up to Miss Universe Vietnam 2008, Võ Hoàng Y?n, will compete for Vietnam at Miss Universe 2009.

Miss World Vietnamese 2007 took place in Vinpearl, Nha Trang on September 2, the Independence day of Vietnam. There were 37 contestants participating in this contest from many countries in the world, including Vietnam, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Canada and the United States. The final consisted of 4 sections: evening gown, swimsuit, áo dài (the traditional costume of Vietnamese women) and an interview.

The winner of Miss World Vietnamese 2007 was Ngo Phuong Lan, a student from Switzerland who declined to be the Vietnamese representative for Miss World 2007. Instead it was the 2nd runner-up, Dang Minh Thu who was the Vietnamese contestant for Miss World 2007. Dang Minh Thu failed to make the final top 15 the crown going to Miss China.
